Kids Only Triathlon

Pine Cove

It has taken more than one post but I am almost caught up ...
Josh and Caleb went to Pine Cove day camp and had an absolute blast!!!! They sang, they chanted, the rode horses, they shot bb guns, they swam, they went down a huge slide, they did the blob, they learned about Jonathon in the Bible, and they created stronger friendships!

We love Pine Cove! I said a Boom Chicka Boom!!! Anybody?!?!?
Baseball Camp, Commissioning Service, and another cake ...
We have been busy at the Glenney house!
This summer has been full of swimming, baseball camp, Pine Cove day camp, the zoo, parks, running, a commissioning service for precious friends, and a triathlon!!! Throw in visits with friends and both sets of grandparents and whew ... where has the summer gone?!?! So much fun, though. And so many smiles. And so much laughter. And so much sleeping late (the kids at least). And so many sibling arguments. And so much food ... these boys can EAT!!! Anyway, here is a picture update of our last few weeks!

Caleb and Josh and their buddies, Jake and Trent, went to a baseball camp and had a blast ... the heat was mighty, but they looked forward to it every morning!!! We were so proud of the boys who all 4 got nominated for the Cougar award (means they all had great sportsmanship all week and many kids do not get this nomination). Josh got the award for first grade and was just thrilled to have a trophy!!! The boys spent the night and played Wii to celebrate the end of camp!!

Another cake for Kate ... with her cousins and grandparents in Aggieland!

My sweet girlfriends ... loved seeing all of us and our hubbies and our 14 kids all in one house together!!! You are gifts from the Lord! I know that God knew I was going to need a lot of encouragement and laughter in this life and He gave me you as special answers for that! Did I miss the white shirt memo???
All FOURTEEN kiddos! Precious in His sight, indeed!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kate!!!
Precious Katiebug,
We love you so very, very much! Two years have gone by in a blink, yet I cannot remember what it was like without you. Your laugh, your craziness, your love for bows and flip-flops, your adoration of your brothers, and your attachment to your "ba" and thumb at night all make you so special. You are the icing on our family cake ... which is a good enough reason for me to make you 3, yes 3, cakes this year!!
One for our family reunion on your big day

One for our Mexico trip reunion the night of your big day

One for your splash party with friends

We had so much fun celebrating with you. Whenever someone asks you how old you are, you say "please" instead of 2 ... we think you are just hoping that question goes along with more cake!! Well, sweetie, this week you had your cake(s) and ate it, too!!!
Sweet Friends!!
