Katie-bug is Four!!

FYI: These are so out of order. Scroll down to the Six Flags pics and read "up" if you are one of those types that need order :). It's summer so I am just glad I got them all on here ...

We had fun swimming with Kate's friends to celebrate the big 4! The Bryans and the Mainords joined us from out of town making our weekend complete -- why don't you guys move back so we can do this more often?!
the Adams, the Mainords and the Glenneys
friends since birth
Caleb, Luke and Jake (also friends since birth)
Best of Buddies - miles cannot separate how much they love each other
fun girls

MoMo (Molly) and Kate
They wore these pajamas the last time they were together two years ago - they were laughing that they could still wear them.
Kate has prayed for Molly living in Ecuador for two years and said the other night "I CANNOT believe I am playing with Molly IN MY HOUSE!" It has been so fun and so sweet to have the Bryans family home for a few weeks.

Summer Fun

Katie-bug is four!! My "little buddy" is growing up so quickly. On the morning of her birthday Chris pulled out her American Girl doll (given to her by grandparents ;) ) and left a note inviting her to lunch at the American Girl store. So, away we went while the boys went to Pine Cove for the day.

breakfast of donuts (pink ones, too)

Summer Adventures

We took an extra long weekend and ventured to Six Flags, to a Rangers game, to run on the football field Chris played on in high school (and ooh and awe over the football trophies they won during that time) and of course a quick visit to Bass Pro Shop. We have been to the lake to tube and ski. Kate has turned 4 with a trip for lunch at the American Girl store (her Daddy's idea) and a swim party with friends. Summer has been a blast but is flying too quickly ...

We rode the Runaway Mine train about five times in a row - there were NO lines that day - amazing!!
the Batwing - I loved how Kate always crossed her legs in the ride
the boys won Kate this cute pink bear and Chris got to carry it all over the park
